I did the removal process twice, and still when I copy the new version of Transmission to my Applications and run it for the first time. I have also followed this guide to remove Transmission completely ( viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15791#p67908).
I cannot change it (except via the script) or it reverts back to the set IP.
